This policy explains how to cancel a membership and when we refund one. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time, from the Billing page in your account. There is no cancellation fee, no notice period, and nothing you need to explain to anyone.

When you cancel:

  • Your membership stays active through the end of the period you have already paid for.
  • You keep full access until that date.
  • You are not billed again.

So if you pay monthly on the 5th and cancel on the 20th, you keep access until the 5th of the following month. Cancelling early never shortens what you have already bought.

Refunds — 24 hours

If you ask within 24 hours of a charge, we refund it in full. This applies to your first charge and to every renewal, monthly or annual.

You do not need to give a reason. We will not ask you why, and we will not ask you whether you used the Site. If your request arrives inside the window, you get your money back.

The clock runs from the moment the charge is made, which is the date and time shown on your receipt from Stripe.

After 24 hours

Once the 24-hour window has passed, that charge is not refundable, and we do not prorate or refund the unused part of a period.

What you can always do instead is cancel. Your access continues to the end of the period you paid for, and you are not charged again.

Please cancel before your renewal date if you do not want to continue. Because the refund window is short, a renewal you meant to cancel and forgot will normally not be refundable. You can cancel at any point during your paid period — you do not lose anything by cancelling early, because access runs to the date you already paid through.

How to request a refund

Send us a message through the contact page from the email address on your account, and tell us which charge you want refunded.

We aim to respond within one business day. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe and usually appear on your statement within five to ten business days, depending on your bank.

Chargebacks

If something has gone wrong, please contact us first.

Disputing a charge with your bank instead of contacting us costs us a fee, locks the account while the dispute is investigated, and takes considerably longer than a refund would. If you are inside the 24-hour window, contacting us is faster and simpler for everyone.

Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails, Stripe will automatically retry it over several days, and your access continues during a short grace period. If payment ultimately fails, the membership lapses and access ends — but your account, and anything you have posted, remains. You can resubscribe at any time.

What appears on your statement

Charges from us appear as PBA MEMBERSHIP LLC.

If you see a charge with that descriptor and do not recognise it, contact us and we will sort it out.
